Hello I am Elaine Baker - I am a climate activist, I am involved with several policy advocacy groups related to energy, and I also work in electricity flexibility as my paid job.  Some voluntary roles I have which are relevant to this: I am chair of the Community Energy Federation of Ireland ( http://cefoi.ie), and I am chair of the Policy Council and Convenor of the Energy Policy Group in the Green Party of Ireland. I live very close to Cloughjordan ecovillage in Tipperary, Ireland.  For a full list of voluntary work I do see http://linksta.cc/@elaineactivism

Hello to all,my name is Juri Hertel.

I'm a climate activist from County Cork and I'm protesting at Cork City Hall since 6 years against the treason of our politicians concerning the climate.

My expertise in plug in solar: I have 6kW installed myself in Youghal/County Cork and registered the installation with the ESB.I receive some 18.5 cents per kWh from my electricity supplier and have practically no energy bills anymore.

If you need help to fill in the registration form of the ESB for your plug-in PV installation please let the forum know.

Every panel is a symbol of peace.

Hi all,

Like Juri, I live in Cork and (used to) have a plug-in solar installation (1.5kWp), registered with the ESB. Juri had kindly helped me get the forms filled correctly etc at the time. ESB-registration was smooth and straight forward. We're currently in between homes but I'm planning to do the same (but larger) once we're in our new place.
