Hi, my name is Marco and I work for the Dutch solar energy association as a specialist for residential pv and storage. During the last ten years, I was lobbying for cooperative pv and wind in Germany as a policy officer for Buendnis Buergerenergie. Smaller PV installations always played a big role in my work, and I have been aware of the discussions around plug in pv since the beginning. In the Netherlands, plug in pv is growing more popular, but plug in batteries have an even bigger appeal. We see a need for standardization for both plug in pv panels and batteries. The Dutch standardization body is considering of using the German standard as a blueprintm for a standard regarding plug in panels, but the question of plug in batteries is not solved yet and has quite some potential for controversy.
