For the first quarter of 2026, the German government is planning for a new edition of the German EEG. Despite the petition brought before the parliament in 2025, demanding a adaption of the rules for plug-in batteries since these were not considered in the pro plug-in solar legislation of 2024, it is yet unclear if this will be met in the drafts. We're currently preparing a new lobbying phase with that gal in mind. In other countries like the UK where plug-in solar legislation is imminent, this should be considered right from the start. Does anyone know if plug-in batteries are considered there or elsewhere? We could use this information in our efforts.
