To-do: outside Australia and North America, please confirm your participation on 3 Feb 2026 at 6pm Berlin time. Australians (and possibly North Americans), please confirm 4 Feb 2026 at 11 pm Berlin time (morning of 5 Feb in Australia). To confirm or comment, just reply here.

With the country questionnaires due at the end of January, we could have our first meeting on Tuesday, 3 Feb 2026 for Europe/South Africa. The BVSS uses OpenTalk, an EU-based video-conferencing platform you can use from your browser. Here is the link:

I propose 6 pm (18h) Berlin time. I realize this is after work for Europeans and South Africans. We could move the Europe/SA call into working hours. Please advise.

For Australia and North America, I propose 11 pm Berlin time on Wednesday, 4 Feb, which is the beginning of the workday on Thursday (5 Feb) in most of Australia (9 am in Sydney). It is also the end of the workday or mid-afternoon in North America (5 pm east coast, 2 pm west coast) on Wednesday, 4 Feb.

The topic will be the results of the questionnaire and a presentation about how the BVSS understands what need to be done based on our experience in Germany, which is probably the leading plug-in solar market at present. The results should be next steps for the group.

I can confirm Brightsaver's participation for the 11 pm Berlin time on Wednesday, 4 Feb. We are a San Francisco based non-profit working across the United States to make plug-in solar accessible and affordable to all Americans. Will we be using the same link? If not, please provide one.
