I am the founder of OneStep.Solar, a company focused on plug-in PV and plug-in storage solutions in a DIY model in Poland. In 2023–2024, we developed our own interpretation of this concept, drawing in part on experience from the German market.
While we have received strong positive feedback from early users and industry media, we have not yet managed to trigger a broader market shift. At this stage, we face multiple legal and administrative barriers, as well as customer scepticism driven by regulatory ambiguity, the lack of clear market standards, recently intensified anti-renewables narratives, and the legacy of poor sales practices by PV installers during the previous PV boom and the recent heat pump boom.
Before founding OneStep.Solar, I served as Chief Business Development Officer at Menlo Electric in 2021–2022, a leading solar distributor ranked #1 in the Financial Times FT1000 report as Europe’s fastest-growing company. After experiencing Menlo’s rapid growth firsthand, I decided in 2023 to start my own venture, bringing with me knowledge of the manufacturer and supplier landscape.
Before Menlo, and continuing in parallel to OneStep.Solar, I have worked extensively in strategic and transaction advisory, primarily in retail and consumer goods, energy and infrastructure. My experience includes strategy development, financial modelling, and investment analysis, recently focusing on supporting clients in their energy transition journeys. This work has covered large-scale wind, PV, BESS, CCGT, as well as biomass and biogas projects, working with both investors and developers.
This background allows me to combine operational, regulatory, and investment perspectives, which I believe is directly relevant to my involvement in MASPLUG.
